History
The Meyerhofer Academy of Dancing was established in 1985 in the Preston area of Cambridge and has been training young dancers ever since. In 2002, The Studio relocated to the current, larger location on Bishop
Street, near Hespeler Rd.
The Studio is run by Owner and Dance Mistress, Lisa Meyerhofer, who received her early training in Kitchener/Waterloo and Cambridge. In her teens she trained with The Royal Winnipeg Ballet and danced with the
Alberta Ballet where she performed such parts as Nutcracker's Chinese, Snowflake and Russian and Coppelia's Head Mazurka Girl and Irish Doll.
